Weirdcore is a surrealist internet aesthetic which takes influence from dreamcore and webcore to create nostalgic imagery that plays with the feeling of childlike wonder and imagination. It is based heavily in early 2000s imagery and software, and it is usually constructed to invoke feelings of confusion, anemoia, dread, or disorientation through a lack of context or messaging.
